The first session was devoted to the study of the <em>Compendium on Cosmopolitanism<\/em>, based on the works of the Soviet authors Chernov and Titarenko and the British communist Bill Bland. The session examined the reactionary and counter-revolutionary character of cosmopolitan ideology as a tool used by the system to undermine our national identity and sovereignty. It also explained the historical context of the Soviet Union\u2019s struggle against cosmopolitanism during the 1940s and outlined the position that communists in Spain take on this issue today, emphasising the importance of upholding revolutionary patriotism. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"768\" height=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/reconstruccioncomunista.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/IMG_2131-768x1024.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3693\" style=\"width:800px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/reconstruccioncomunista.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/IMG_2131-768x1024.jpeg 768w, https:\/\/reconstruccioncomunista.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/IMG_2131-225x300.jpeg 225w, https:\/\/reconstruccioncomunista.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/IMG_2131-1152x1536.jpeg 1152w, https:\/\/reconstruccioncomunista.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/IMG_2131-scaled.jpeg 1536w, https:\/\/reconstruccioncomunista.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/IMG_2131-9x12.jpeg 9w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 768px) 100vw, 768px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The second session was devoted to the study of the philosophy presented in Antonio Gramsci's <em>Prision Notebooks.<\/em> We focused primarily on his theory of hegemony over the social masses and his most significant theoretical contributions.
